In 2007, a 20-foot shipping container of medical equipment was donated by the Mackay Base Hospital in North Queensland, Australia. That single act of generosity sparked a ministry that has since shipped tonne after tonne of life-changing supplies to the people of Zambia.
TTN Ministries works as the in-field partner with Operation Lift, receiving containers and distributing medical equipment, wheelchairs, crutches, walking frames, school furniture, books and educational resources to rural clinics, hospitals and schools that desperately need them.
What Goes in a Container?
- Hospital beds, trolleys and medical furniture
- Wheelchairs, crutches, walking frames and mobility aids
- Medical supplies and clinic equipment
- School desks, chairs and educational furniture
- Books, stationery and classroom resources
- Sporting equipment for youth programs
The Numbers
$300 = 1 cubic metre of supplies · $20,000 = a full 40-foot container · 65m³ of improved health and education per container
Every container opens extraordinary doors for the Gospel. When TTN arrives at a rural hospital with wheelchairs and medical supplies, hearts open. Lives change. The Gospel goes further.
