About TTN Ministries

To The Nations Ministries (TTN) is a faith-based organisation committed to the Great Commission — taking the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the unreached people of Africa and beyond. For more than 100 years, TTN and its predecessors have served communities in Zambia through evangelism, discipleship, church planting, healthcare, and education.

Our Team Today

Chris and Angela Shadbolt — Directors, trained by the Salisbury family for almost a decade, leading a dedicated team of full-time evangelists carrying the Great Commission across Zambia and into the surrounding nations.

Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptising them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.

— Matthew 28:19

Our History

1920s — Ernest Salisbury, Congo & Lake Mweru

Ernest establishes a mission station on the Congo side of Lake Mweru, beginning a family legacy of ministry that would continue for over a century.

1974 — David Salisbury moves to Zambia

Ernest’s son David serves in Zambia as a missionary, Bible School Principal, and through children’s television ministry.

1994 — Samuel Salisbury founds TTN

Ernest’s grandson Samuel establishes To The Nations as we know it today, continuing the family vision through Africa Care, Africa for Jesus, and TTN Ministries.

2007 — Operation Lift — Uncontained Love launched

TTN partners with Operation Lift — Uncontained Love to begin importing medical and educational equipment into Zambia, opening extraordinary doors for the Gospel in hospitals, schools and remote communities.

Today — The Great Commission continues

The Shadbolts and their team carry the Great Commission across four nations, with eyes always on the next frontier.
